发明名称 FLOPPY DISC DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To decrease the manufacture cost by limiting a distance from an inner circumferential edge of a lower head flat part to an upper head read/write gap center within 0.6mm. when upper and lower heads contact without intervention of a disc. CONSTITUTION:The distance (d) from the inner circumferential side edge of the flat part of the lower head 1b to the read/write gap center of the upper head 1a is limited within 0.6mm. in the floppy disc device when the upper and lower heads 1a, 1b are contacted are brought into contact with each other without intervention of the disc 8. According to the experiment where the contact state between the head and the disc is observed directly, when the value (d) viewed from the direction in the figure is smaller than nearly 0.6mm., the head and the disc contact in a good way even at a range where the head is placed at far higher position than the reference position. Thus, excellent contact is obtained by limiting the said distance (d) within 0.6mm., no processing for the improvement of the positioning accuracy is required and the manufacture cost is decreased.
