PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of fire due to ignition of TENPURA oil, by resetting a timer circuit by means of a timer when an output signal is provided after a specified time has lapsed since a smoke producing amount level exceeds a set value, and a smoke producing amount becomes below the level during a set time. CONSTITUTION:A cooking range A comprises a temperature sensor 1 which detects the temperature of the wall of a cooking container B, and a smoke producing amount detecting sensor 2 having an infrared luminous part 2a which is adapted to detect smoke production C from the interior of a cooking container, and a collecting part 2b. Smoke producing information is inputted to a smoke producing amount level deciding circuit 3, and when a smoke producing amount exceeds a set level, a signal is sent to a timer circuit 14 to start a time count. In case a signal, which notifies that smoke producing amount exceeds a set value for a previously set time, for example, 10min, is sent in succession, when the time has lapsed, an output for actuation, simultaneously, is sent to a relay 20 adapated to close an electromagnetic valve 21 for disconnection of the feed of fuel to the oven. However, if, after counting of a time is started, a smoke producing level becomes below a set value before a set time lapses, the timer circuit 14 is reset. |
