A press head(80) completes one work cycle with each rotation of the crank shaft (6), which is attached with a clutch key(67) and moved by the clutch rod(69). A safety lever(23) reciprocates around the press head. A safety switch and a power press stopping device are made in the power press. Any interruption of the safety lever activates the switch, which in turn activates the power press stopping device. This device stops the power press head at a safe distance. This safty device prevents acidents by carelessness.
