PURPOSE:To improve a stability of an information recording medium to light by containing nickel sulfonate and/or nickel carbonyl in a recording layer and an undercoating layer and/or a protective layer. CONSTITUTION:At least either one of nickel sulfonate and nickel carbonyl is contained at least in one of the laminated layers of a thin film recording layer 2 of coloring matter and an undercoating layer 3, provided if necessary, and in a protective layer 4. By the above method the stability of the coloring matter film to light is improved and its dependability and readout frequency are increased. Nickel sulfonate and nickel carbonyl are contained in the coloring matter film recording layer in the ratio of 3-60% by weight of the total solid matters. In addition, should two or more layers contain the above substances, adding may be in accordance with the above started ratio for each layer. |
