PURPOSE:To provide a titled casting maching which prevents the breakdown of a steel plate owing to the growth and exfoliation of the solidified skin of the molten steel in a gate and the fluctuation of a plate thickness by providing a core in parallel with roll axes to the inside of the gate above the cooling rolls and heating the parts for forming a flow passage including the side gates thereby eliminating the stagnating flow. CONSTITUTION:The core 7 in parallel with the axial centers of the cooling rolls 1, 2 facing each other is provided in the gate consisting of the gates 4 and side gates 6 above said rolls and heating elements 10, 11 are incorporated into the core 7 and the gates 6 forming the flow passage for the steel 3 to heat the core and the gates, thereby eliminating the stagnating flow owing to the solidification of the molten steel 3. The breakdown of the steel slate 5 occurring in the growth of the solidified skin and the exfoliation and carry over thereof as well as the fluctuation of the plate thickness owing to the nonuniform quick cooling are prevented. |
