PURPOSE:To make the thickness of the main body of an element thin, by laminating two sheets of blank bodies in a thin plate shape comprising a pyroelectric material with an internal electrode in between, sintering the blank bodies, thereby offseting and removing noises caused by vibration. CONSTITUTION:A main body 5 is constituted by laminating and compressing two thin-plate shaped blank bodies 6 and 7 comprising a pyroelectric material and sintering the bodies. An internal electrode 8 is provided between both blank bodies 6 and 7. The blank bodies 6 and 7 are polarized so that polarizing axes (arrows P) are aligned with the same directions. Either of external electrode 9 or 10 is made to be a light receiving surface of light A, and is made of a metal, which blackens the light receiving surface or has small reflectivity. Thus a heat absorbing film is formed. When vibration is applied from the outside, tensile stress is yielded in the outer surface part of the blank body 6, and compression stress is yielded in the outer surface part of the blank body 7. Since the polarization axes of both blank bodies 6 and 7 are aligned in the same direction, the potential difference between the outer electrodes 10 and 9 is zero, and noise is not generated. Since the two blank bodies are laminated, the bodies can be made thin, and the thickness of the entire body can be made thin. |
