PURPOSE:To make improvements in a rate of fuel consumption in time of steadiness as well as to improve accelerating performance, by detecting a variation in a throttle valve, while feeding a rich mixture to an engine in time of acceleration and a lean mixture instead in time of steadiness, respectively, in case of an LPG fuel feeder. CONSTITUTION:Liquefied petroleum gas in a tank 1 is fed to an engine 2 from a carburetor 9 after regulated for its supply by a control valve 8 via a primary decompression chamber 13, and a secondary decompression chamber 5. The control valve 8 is operated by c.w. or c.c.w. rotation of a step motor by means of the output of a controller 23 which inputs suction temperature 17, fuel temperature, opening and throttle variation of a throttle valve 19, inlet suction pressure 21 and engine speed 22. A fact that a variation in the throttle valve 19 in its opening direction is larger than the specified value is detected, thereby discriminating the engine to be in a state of being accelerated, and the valve 8 is opened, feeding a rich mixture. In time of the case other than that, the valve 8 is operated in its closing direction, feeding a lean mixture to the engine. |
