PURPOSE:To measure and control the cut length of a rolled member with high accuracy by correcting the deflection of the pulse increment values through feedback by executing measurement at each cutting of the rolled member. CONSTITUTION:When the top edge of a rolled member A reaches a sensor S3, a gate 12 is opened, and the pulse supplied from a pulse oscillator 2 is input into a counter 10, and the rolled member is shifted by a distance L, and when the top edge reaches a sensor S4, the gate 12 is closed, and the pulse input into the counter 10 is brought into stop. During this time, a pulse-increment calculator 11 which receives the output of the counter 10 performs calculation, and the signal added with the correction value of the rolled member cut in the preceding process is instructed into a controller. When the rolled member A reaches a cutting position, a cutting shear 3 is operated by the instruction of the controller corrected by a feedback correction apparatus 13, and the rolled steel member A is cut to a cut length with high accuracy. |
