PURPOSE:To enable to perform automatically prevention of freezing of the titled device by flowing a necessary quantity of hot water to a hot water supply pipe at the time of necessity, by a method wherein the titled device is controlled by providing a pair of a hot water supply and discharge ports on a water discharge device so that the lower the temperature becomes, the bigger an opening quantity of a drain valve becomes when the temperature below the freezing point is detected by a temperature detecting part. CONSTITUTION:The whole of a hot water supply device is controlled by a hot water control part 6 by providing a hot water supply pipe 3 supplying the hot water to a water discharge part to be obtained by pairing the hot water supplying device 1 which is capable of deciding the temperature of the supply hot water, a hot water supply part 2 and a drainage port 5, a hot water supply valve 4 supplying the hot water to the hot water supply port 2, a drainage valve 7 supplying the hot water to the drainage port 5 and a temperature detecting part 10 fixed to an arbitrary position and detecting the atmospheric temperature in the vicinity of the hot water supply pipe 3. When there is no demand for the hot water supply and a detected temperature by a temperature detecting part 11 has become lower than the freezing point, the lower the temperature of a control part 7 of the hot water supply becomes, the bigger a quantity of opening of a drainage valve 8 becomes, which makes a water quantity flowing through the hot water supply pipe 3 large. With this construction, the lower the atmospheric temperature becomes the larger the water quantity flowing through the hot water supply pipe 3 can be made and prevention of freezing of the hot water supply pipe 3 can be performed through a necessary minimum water quantity.
