PURPOSE:To prevent damage to the lower end of plywood in control of plywood derricking conveying by providing an upper endless belt conveyor for supporting the lower end of the plywood and a lower chain conveyor having shelves between which the plywood is supported erectly, both of the conveyors travelling at the same speed in parallel up and down. CONSTITUTION:A chain conveyor 36 is engaged with an upper guide 41 to make shelves 40 in the respective stages waiting erectly at regular intervals and a conveyor 55 is projected from the lower surface of a belt conveyor 48 until it comes to the same phase as a transferring conveyor 14 to support plywood 54 supplied erectly from, for example, a horizontal type multi-stage press with the lower end thereof supported by the conveyor 55 and the both sides supported between the shelves on the unloader side. Then, the conveyor 55 is retreated to transfer the lower end of the plywood 54 onto the belt 47 of the belt conveyor 48 for conveying the same. This allows conveying of plywood without damage. |
