PURPOSE:To shorten insertion tact and reduce a vertical space in inserting electronic parts with lead into a base plate by regulatively pressing a lead terminal of grasped electronic part from both sides against regulating claws and inserting said electronic parts after the regulating claws retreat. CONSTITUTION:A chucking frame 10 is lowered to a position where it chucks an electronic part 2 and a piston rod 11 is lowered by a cylinder 13 in a head driving section to compress a compression spring 12, close chuck fingers 9, make said fingers grasp a body of the electronic part 2 and kift it to a predetermined position. Next, a cylinder 20 is operated to move lead regulating claws 14 horizontally through a lever 18, guide 17 and slider 16 for regulating lead terminals. Next, after the regulating claws 14 are retreated, the insertion movement is carried out. By this constitution can be shortened the insertion time. |
