PURPOSE:To obtain a crankshaft mirror having the high rigidity of the whole machine by increasing the diameter of a chuck independently of the diameter of a cutter and increasing the rigidity of a supporting part by reducing the projection length and reducing the rest path. CONSTITUTION:A pair of saddles 2 are installed in shiftable ways onto a crankshaft mirror, opposed to a bed 1 and in the opposite direction, and a work holding member for holding a chuck 8 or the edge part of a work 11 such as center body is fixed onto each saddle 2. The inner-edge drum-shaped cutters 10a and 10b corresponding to a plurality of places of a cylinder working part concentric to the above-described holding member such as the journal, etc. of the work 11 held onto each saddle 2 and the grinding units 9a and 9b consisting of a driving apparatus 13 for eccentrically-driving the cutters 10a and 10b along the outer periphery of the center cylinder working part of the work 11 are provided. Further, a rest 14 for supporting the pin journal part of the work 11 onto the opposed intermediate parts of the both saddles 2 is fixed onto the bed 1. |
