<p>PURPOSE:To oscillate a laser beam only at the setting of a light pen on a liquid crystal panel and to prevent misinput by making the point of the pen movable and turning on and off a switch in the light pen enabled to handwrite data on the panel. CONSTITUTION:When the light pen is pressed against the liquid crystal panel or an overlay, the pen point 21 is pushed and moved into the light pen housing 20 while expanding a spring 22. When the pen point 21 is pressed into the housing by a fixed distance, a switch 23 is actuated and a laser beam is outputted from a semiconductor laser to enable the panel to be written. When the light pen is moved under said state, a prescribed line is written, and if the light pen is separated from the panel at an optional position, the pen point 21 is pushed out by the action of the spring 22, the switch 23 is turned off and no output is generated from the laser to end writing. Thus, the precise handwriting of characters, patterns, etc, is attained and power can be saved.</p> |
