PURPOSE:To execute an exact position detection with respect to any of a UV lamp and a deep UV lamp by making a refractive member of a light freely attachable and detachable to and from an optical path passing through a pin hole. CONSTITUTION:As for a pin hole camera, a lamp position detecting device which has inserted, for instance, a positive lens 7 is used. In this case, a luminous flux emitted from a deep UV lamp 2 passes through a pin hole 5a on a pin hole plate 5, is refracted to an optical axis side in the periphery of the lens 7, and reaches a screen 6. Accordingly, as for a luminous flux whose F-number is large, it will do that a lamp position is detected by a cathode 8 instead of an anode 9. Accordingly, in case when a deep UV lamp is used for a UV use position detecting device, the lens 7 is inserted so as to be adjacent to the pin hole plate 5, and in case of a UV lamp, the lens is removed, and with respect to any lamp, an exact position detection can be executed.
