PURPOSE:To realize better welding of a lug part to a strap part by preparing a grooved part on a base lead material, putting the base lead material on the lug part of a group of electrode plates, and using the grooved part of the base lead material for welding. CONSTITUTION:A base lead material 3, on which a grooved part 2 is prepared beforehand, is put on the lug part 6 of an electrode plate 5 when a group of electrode plates 4 are welded, and then the base lead material 3 is molten by a gas burner 7 under the condition in which a flame 8 of the burner 7 enters the inside of the grooved part 2 on the base lead material 3. Succeedingly the lug part 6 of the electrode plate 5 is also gradually molten, and then the strap part can be formed without an electrode pole 9 melting because the flame 8 of the burner 7 is prevented from being effected on the electrode pole 9. Therefore, better welding of the lug part 6 to the strap part can be realized. |
