PURPOSE:To reduce stress in the central part of a hub so as to be capable of corresponding even to high peripheral speed, that is, the high rate of expansion, by forming a hub of the captioned rotor, which is formed through fitting the hub in a rim of a shell and further through diffusion joining of the rim and the hub, into a solid conical body. CONSTITUTION:A precisely cast shell 11 and a hub 12, made of powder supply alloy block, are formed into one body as a compound radial turbine rotor 10 through diffusion joining. The shell 11 which has a rim 14, with a conical inner hole 13 in its central part, and a turbine blade 15, provided in one body on the outer peripheral face of the of the rim 14, is precisely cast from creep-resistant material. Further, the hub 12 is formed in a solid conical body adhering to the inner hole 13 of the rim 14, while a joining part 23 of the rim 14 with the hub 12 on the side face of the big diameter part of the conical surface for the inner hole 13 is perfectly sealed by means of welding. Subsequently, air between the inner hole 13 and the hub 12 is deflected through a deflection pipe 18 diffusion joining. |
