PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration and contamination of the side part of a radial tyre of a specified carcass cord having a light-color annular rubber part on the side part by projecting the surface of the annular part higher than the surface of the side wall and grooving the internal part of the annular part. CONSTITUTION:An annular part 5 is laid on the side part of a tyre having a carcass wherein a cord is angled at 80-90 deg. with respect to the equator plane of the tyre, in such a manner that the surface 5a of the annular part 5 is projected from the virtual line M of the outline of a side wall. The annular part 5 has grooves 7a and 7b formed thereon ternally and ternally. The border line La of the upper side wall 6b and the other border line Lc of the lower side wall 6b are determined inside the groove 7a and in the vicinity to the groove 7b, respectively. Such constitution of the tyre may be provided with lower deterioration and contamination. |
