Method and arrangement for the serial transmission of the digital measurement values of a measurement transducer

To transmit the digital measurement values of a measurement transducer, particularly of an angle encoder or displacement encoder, the measurement values, which are present in parallel, are stored in a parallel/serial shift register and transmitted serially at the rate of one clock pulse sequence which is generated by a processing unit receiving the measurement values. This synchronous serial transmission provides for simple processing of the transmitted data and a high baud rate of the data transmission.
