PURPOSE:To continuously manufacture a highly durable hose of various curve forms with a high accuracy by combining a hose molding process utilizing the characteristic properties of a shape-memory alloy with the manufacturing process of hose. CONSTITUTION:A bar-like shape memory alloy (b) kept at ordinary temperature is inserted into a high-temperature tube (a) being molded continuously, and the tube (a) is cut off by a cutter 3. The shape memory alloy (b) is restored to its original shape at high temperature in the tube (a) and the tube (a) is also deformed into a speciffic shape in the same way to become the form (c) as shown by Fig. When the tube (a) is then cooled, the tube is sufficiently aged (molded) and the alloy (b) in the tube (a) is cooled to ordinary temperature slightly later to become the form (D). By drawing out the alloy from the tube, a hose product A of a specific shape can be obtaind. |
