PURPOSE:To improve reliability on fixture, by a method wherein, when a ceramic lining material is fastened to the inner surface of a metallic parent material, it is fastened such that clearance is provided in a position, where the exposed surface thereof does not make direct contact with a high-temperature gas, between the two members by means of a pin. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic lining material 4 is engaged with the inner surface of a piston 2, made of a metallic parent material by which a combustion chamber 3 is formed, through the medium of a cushion material 15 together with a cylinder liner 1. The ceramic lining material 4 is fastened by means of a pin 5 disposed in a position where an exposed surface does not make direct contact with a high-temperature gas. The pin 5 consists of a screw rod part 7, screwed in a female screw part 6 formed in the piston 2, and a columnar head part 10 which is relatively rotatably coupled to the screw rod part 7 through a spherical part 8 and a spherical recess 9. An insertion hole 11, having a diameter larger than that of the head part 10, is formed in the ceramic lining material 4, and clearance 12 is provided between the ceramic lining material 4 and the head part 10. |
