PURPOSE:To attain the reduction of dipping-up frequency and the facilitation of work, by mounting an oil sump tank which is provided to the downstream side of an oil-water separation tank and stores dirty water containing a large amount of an oil component flowed out from a flooding port provided to the upper part of each tank of said separation tank. CONSTITUTION:Dirty water containing a large amount of an oil component and the other float substance 82 is flowed into the first separation tank ST1 of an oil-water separation tank 86 from a drain trough 83 through a communication orifice 86b and the oil component is floated to the surface in the separation tank while the dirty water 81 reduced in the oil component is flooded over a partition wall 86a to be flowed into the adjacent second separation tank ST2 from the upper part of said wall 86a and flowed into a third separation tank ST3 and a furth separation tank ST4 through a water sending pipe 88 while subjected to similar oil separating action. The oil component floated in each separation tank is flowed out from a flooding port 94 with the rising in a water level to be flowed into drain troughs 96, 97 and flowed into an oil sump. tank 90 from a communication port 90b to be stored therein. On the other hand, the dirty water 81 reduced in oil content in the separation tank ST4 is discharged by the pump 91 of a drain apparatus 89.
