PURPOSE:To lighten the load of a CPU, by continuously performing device selection, writing operation, verifying operation, data cancellation, and substituting process by means of one time of task word from the CPU. CONSTITUTION:When a task word meaning write instructions is inputted into input-output devices 2 and 2' from CPUs 1 and 1', respectively, the input-output devices 2 and 2' select an appropriate optical disk device and record information is obtained. Then a record, whose ID part information at a data section coincides with the record information, is searched. When the record is searched, data from the CPUs are written and, when a verified result is normal, it is regarded that the writing operation is terminated and an interruption is applied to the CPU. When an error is detected in the verified result, a substitute record is searched and substitute processing operation is again executed. When no error is detected in the course of substitute processing operation, it is regarded that the writing operation is completed and an interrupting operation is executed to the CPUs 1 and 1'.
