PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and the like enabling high-fluidity fly ash to be easily discriminated without performing a flow test.SOLUTION: A discrimination method of high-fluidity fly ash according to the present invention, comprises an acquisition step (A) of acquiring a BSE image and an EBSD pattern; an identification step (B) of identifying fly ash particles; and a discrimination step (C) of discriminating an HMA phase. The discrimination method discriminates as the high-fluidity fly ash, the fly ash which is obtained through the steps (A) to (C) and in which a volume fraction of the HMA phase is 6.0 volume% or more. High-fluidity fly ash according to the present invention is composed of the fly ash discriminated as high-fluidity fly ash using the discrimination method of high-fluidity fly ash.
