PURPOSE:To make a pump capacity double with a single pump in case of using a pump in a fluid circuit, by combining two pump sections with one electric motor section. CONSTITUTION:A pump P comprises an electric motor section 1 of induction motor type at a central portion thereof, the motor section 1 being constituted of a motor casing 1a, a stator 3 and a rotor 4 accommodated in the casing 1a, and first and second pump sections 2A and 2B on right-hand side and left-hand side, the pump sections 2A and 2B being consituted of pump casings 5A and 5B and pump impellers 6A and 6B accommodated in the casings 5A and 5b. Thus, when the pump P is arranged in a fluid circuit in such a manner that the motor casing 1a is fixed to the pump casings 5A and 5B by a fixing member, two impellers 6A and 6B may be rotated with on induction motor section 1, thereby exhibiting a double pump capacity with a single pump.
