PURPOSE:To obtain a thermodevelopable photosensitive material capable of releasing a developing adjuvant at controlled speed at the time of thermodevelopment by incorporating a specified developing adjuvant precursor in the thermodevelopable photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:A thermodevelopable photosensitive material contains a dye donor and a developing adjuvant precursor represented by the general formula shown here in which A is a group cleavable by alkali hydrolysis; R is aryl; and R<1>-R<4> are each H, alkyl, or aryl, and optionally same or different as and from each other. |
