<p>Appts. for use in pouring molten metal in the mfr. of cast metal articles comprises a mould transfer device having two lifting devices depending from an overhead bridge structure, movable such that a first device moves an empty mould from a pickup position onto a molten metal pouring station, whilst simultaneously a second device lifts and moves a filled mould away to a set down location. Moulds include a molten metal height control and mould stopper closing mechanism. The mould is filled by bottom injection from a pressurised pouring tank.</p> |
