EXHAUST PURIFIER FOR DIESEL ENGINE

PURPOSE:To obtain an exhaust purifier for feeding predetermined amount of burning air easily with low cost, by providing a throttle valve in an exhaust pipe at the upstream of filter while providing a bypath coupling between the upstream of said throttle valve and burner air inlet. CONSTITUTION:The pressure at the upstream section 3 of throttle valve is controlled by a rotatble throttle valve 5 such that required amount of O2 for combustion in burner 9 will be bypassed to the bypath 7. O2 in exhaust gas passed through bypath 7 is mixed with fuel injected through a fuel pipe 8 and burner 9 then swirled by swirler 10 and fired by firing plug 14. High temperature combustion gas will pass together with exhaust gas passed through the opening of throttle valve 5 through a ceramic filter 12 to oxidize particulates caught in ceramic filter 12 then goes to muffler 13.
