Control device for injection pumps

A control device for injection pumps of supercharged injection internal combustion engines has an actuator determining the injection quantity of the pump and adjustable as a function of operating variables of the internal combustion engine, together with a stop assigned to this actuator and limiting the maximum injection quantity, which stop can be adjusted as a function of the charging pressure. In order to prevent inadmissible operating states of a motor vehicle fitted with an injection internal combustion engine of this type under extreme environmental conditions it is proposed that the stop (10) also be adjustable as a function of a characteristic operating temperature and, where necessary, also as a function of the ambient air pressure. <IMAGE>
