Process and device for producing a laminated body consisting of at least two sheet-shaped structural elements. Concerned in particular are a composite glass pane, an insulating material, or a solar generator which is preferably laid between hot-melt adhesive films, has connected solar cells, is provided on both sides with protective coverings and is intended for terrestrial applications. The structural elements forming the laminated body are subjected to temperature/ pressure treatment in a vacuum chamber in such a manner that the structural elements form a mechanically strong composite after completion of the treatment. After the introduction of the structural elements into the vacuum chamber, the latter is evacuated with the structural elements at the same time being mounted without any forces and no direct contact with the heating devices. After completion of the evacuation process, the temperature/pressure treatment is carried out and the vacuum is simultaneously maintained. <IMAGE>
