PURPOSE:To easily and efficiently adjust the length of a connecting rod by properly combining together fine and coarse adjustment conneting rods, connecting one end of them to the central connecting member, and engaging the other end of them to a body frame. CONSTITUTION:A body frame correcting device 1 consists of a central coupling member 2, a number of fine adjustment connecting rod 4 and a number of coarse adjustment connecting rods 6 that are connected to a number of pin holes 8 of this central coupling member 2. The fine adjustment rod 4 is set up by mutually screwing and connecting a first rod 10 rotatably connected to an engagement means 12 that is connected to the central connecting members 2 and a second rod 24 connected to an engagement means 14 that engages with the body frame. In addition, the coarse adjustment rod 6 differs from the fine adjustment rod 4 in only the coupling structure between a third rod 50 and a fourth rod 56 and both rods 50 and 56 are connected together by engaging a U-shaped pin 52 with the respective pairs of engagement holes 54 and 58 provided on both rods. Correcting work is performed by properly combining together both adjustment rods 4 and 6 mentioned above. |
