Car roof-mounted headlight 4 with coloured-glass speed indicator is mounted on a bolt 3 in a rectangular tube 15 between two soft rubber elements 5, in which, even when a glass dome is placed over it, the inertia force moves it back and forth when the speed of the car varies, as a result of which when the speed changes greatly it bounces against a rubber element 5 against which it trembles - as does also a green beam of light (1-2) from it in the air - to a moderate degree and thus in the same way, as a result of braking, so does a pale yellow light beam through a colourless glass strip 6-7; two rubber bands 16 attempt to position this headlight under a red glass strip 2-6 where they make it just tremble the whole time when at the same speed, but, for the purpose of protection, nothing moves it when the car is still, on the other hand in the case of a slight change in speed it casts a different coloured light sign into the air in an arcuate shape without even trembling. The headlight is well protected against wind and air pressure by the glass dome and efficiently melts snow and ice on said dome. Said dome can be screwed onto a luggage rack 13 or onto another object - or can be bonded onto the car roof 8 by placing a base 17 below it. <IMAGE>
