PURPOSE:To obtain a rustproof engine hood of light weight with high allowance for shaping by giving a conductive processing more than 20 dB to the engine hood made of plastic for protecting an electronic control device from electromagnetic wave causing erroneous operation. CONSTITUTION:A conductive processing is given to an engine hood made of plastic to shield electromagnetic wave. For the means of processing, there are a means to shape the engine hood by mixing a proper conductive material, for example, metallic fiber or powder, or carbon fiber or powder, into thermosetting reinforcing resin, a means to shape the engine hood by enclosing metallic leaves, carbon leaves, or conductive meshes in a sandwich state at the time of shaping of the engine hood, a means to provide a conductive thin layer at least on one side of the engine hood by painting, spattering, evaporation, flame coating, and the like, and a means to stick a conductive film on the inside of the engine hood. |
