PURPOSE:To generate accurately a sub-code with a simple operation by recording a marking corresponding to a main code on a VTR tape, measuring the reproduced marking generating time and generating the corresponding sub-code. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 115 of a sub-code generating circuit 113 is operated and a required marking is recorded on a VTR tape corresponding to a PCM main code. Further, an interval between reproduced markings is measured by a time measuring circuit section 114c of a control circuit 114. The sub-code is formed automatically via a time chart forming section 114d without listening to a reproduced music signal based on the result of the reproduced marking generating time measurement. Thus, the sub-code is generated accurately by means of automatic forming with a simple operation in this way. |
