<p>PURPOSE:To load a cable twice as long as one in the conventional method on one truck by juxtaposing a liftable drum and a fixed drum both having the same diameter on the rear body of a truck and providing a freely retractable projections for winding up a cable on said liftable drum. CONSTITUTION:Two drums 2, 7 with the same diameter are juxtaposed on the rear body 5 of a track. Freely retractable projections 6 are provided on the both side edges of the drum 7, while a jack 8 for raising the drum 7 is mounted on the rear body 5. A motor 9 for driving both drums 2, 7 through belts 11 is also installed on the rear body 5. On operating the device, first, the drum 7 is raised and the projections 6 are extended, and a cable 10 is wound up around the drum 7 up to the amount to be wound by the drum 2. Then, the winding lengths of the both drums 2, 7 are equalized and the drum 7 is lowered while the projections 6 are retracted, and the truck is moved. And the cable 10 is again wound up around the drum 7 before being extended out into a vertical shaft 4.</p> |
