The invention relates to a kit for a greenhouse made of galvanised, possibly also plastic-coated steel parts. For cost-saving manufacture, easier storage and simpler mounting, the steel parts according to the invention are profiles which can be assembled to form rectangular frame elements, at least two of which profiles, which are opposite one another in the assembled state, are designed as U-profiles with guide grooves which face one another for receiving a plate, sheet or similar surface element and are open at at least one end.
