PURPOSE:To contrive to realize the favorable distribution of exhaust gas temperature and consequently to eliminate the need to use valuable material as a pipe bar material and yet to prolong the lifetime of the exchanger by a method wherein an inlet side duct for exhaust gas passage is eccentrically attached to the rotatable heat exchanger main body and an outlet side duct is concentrically attached thereto. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas enters at an a-1 side and discharges through the interior chamber 41 of the heat exchanger main body 10 from an a-2 side. In this case, the rotation of the heat exchanger main body by 10 degrees causes the exhaust gas to produce violent turbulent flow in the interior chamber 41 and to move in delicate and complicated manner, resulting in increasing the heating surface areas of a pipe bar 11 bundle. Because the inlet side duct 39 for exhaust gas passage is eccentric to the heat exchanger main body 10 by the eccentricity of (e), the exhaust gas flow passage takes a rising course as indicated with arrows or from a-1 to a-2. However, because the pipe bar 11 bundle revolves in the direction as indicated with the arrow 42, the exhaust gas in the high temperature zones (a) and (f) are pushed downward on the whole, resulting in eliminating the temperature difference and consequently uniformizing the temperature within the interior chamber. |
