The invention refers to a method and a device for production of cylinder bound propulsive agents for firearms with charge weights up to 1.4 kg /litre. According to the invention more bead or particle-shaped powder is pressed or compacted than what would fit in the same volume in a freely running condition by means of a rod or plunger (6) down in a cylinder (4) whose interior is coated with a means of a friction disparaging medium. The rod or plunger (6) is then equipped with an elastically deformable front part (7) of e.g. rubber. According to a variation on the invention, the powder is pressed down into a cartridge (12, 13) of flammable fibrous material which is in advance put down in the inside of a cartridge with a means of disparaging friction (4).<IMAGE> |
