PURPOSE:To control the flow rate, the pressure, and the temperature of a high temperature fluid, by forming a valve body with a hollow tubular ceramic having at least a part of its hollow space filled with a heat insulating material. CONSTITUTION:At the center part of a base 2a of a valve casing, a thin hollow tubular ceramic valve body 3 is located coaxially with the valve casing. The valve body is of a simple hollow tubular shape with a uniform diameter and uniform thickness of preferably 10mm. or less, the end surface of an air duct side and the end surface of a valve rod side are both cut in a surface extending at right angles with a shaft, and the outer surface of a valve rod side is formed in a tapered surface 3a spreading outwardly. The hollow part of said valve body 3 is filled with a heat insulating material 9 such as ceramic fiber and the like. |
