PURPOSE:To make a rotary compressor lightweight and improve the strength and molding workability by molding a vane dividing a cylinder chamber into a suction chamber and a compression chamber with a reinforced plastic material and by filling hollow spherical grains in it. CONSTITUTION:A vane 5 is molded in a plate shape using plastics as a base material 13, and hollow spherical grains 16 are arranged and filled in it at random as a reinforcing material. The hollow spherical grain 16, made of a hard glass material, etc., is lightweight and has high strength, and is also molded with a material highly adhesive to the base material 13. Since the hollow spherical grain 16 is spherical in its outer shape, a force acting on the boundary surface 17 with the base material 13 is totally broken down into a force in the normal direction and a force in the tangential direction and is dispersed in each direction, thereby local concentration of stress is prevented from occurring. |
