PURPOSE:To obtain a good reproduction picture image, by receiving a video signal, which is extended its time axis in horizontal retrace line period side, at a transmission side. CONSTITUTION:In one horizontal period, a video signal Sv, which is converted digitally by an A-D converter 27, is supplied to a memory 8a, and N pieces of samples are successively written in synchronous with a clock signal CLK<phi>2 during the period. The said N pieces of samples written in the one horizontal period is supplied to a D-A converter 29. In the following one horizontal period, the video signal Sv is supplied to a memory 8b, and N pieces of samples, which have been written in the one horizontal period before the N pieces of samples were successively written in synchronous with the clock signal CLK<phi>2, is supplied to the D-A converter 29 to output an original video signal Sv. The signal Sv is supplied to a luminance signal/color signal separation circuit 30 to be separated into a luminance signal Y and color signal C. The Y is supplied to a matrix circuit 31, and the color signal C to a color demodulation circuit 32, and the circuit 32 supplies a red color difference signal R-Y and blue color difference signal B-Y to the circuit 31 so that primary colors of RG and B are obtained. |
