PURPOSE:To enable the positioning of many kinds of vehicle bodies, by grouping members for positioning the behicle bodies and by mounting the members on base members. CONSTITUTION:Manu positioning members 38c are provided to secure many kinds of vehicle bodies at plural parts in prescribed positions. In each of the positioning members 38c, they are divided into subgroups for the kinds of the vehicle bodies. The subgroups of the positioning members 38c are borne by support members 17, 18, 35, 39 which are arranged in the direction of conveyance of the vehicle bodies. The groups of the positioning members 38c are mounted on base members 7, 8, 9. A drive means for moving the base members 7, 8, 9 back or forth in the direction of conveyance of the vehicle bodies to position the support members 17, 18, 35, 39 depending on the kind of the vehicle body is provided. According to this constitution, the many kinds of vehicle bodies can be positioned and coping with a new vehicle body is enabled by simple work. |
