Control device for the drive of a vehicle whose steering takes place by means of the drive wheels of the two sides of the vehicle being driven to differing degrees, the drive wheels of each side of the vehicle being driven in each case via a hydrostatic gear whose control element is connected to a control piston which can be displaced in a control cylinder and acted upon on both sides, the control piston being acted upon in each case from one side in order to control the travel speed and the control pressure which determines the travel speed being lowered on one side of the vehicle for large bending radii in order to control travel around a bend and a pressure being built up additionally on the opposite side of the control piston for smaller bending radii, said pressure being derived from the control pressure, which determines the travel speed, on the other side of the vehicle. <IMAGE>
