<p>A surgical retractor system is disclosed comprising an array of standardized, interchangeable, annular retractor frame sections (11, 13) of various shapes of which the end portions (15, 16) are configured to permit the interchangeable, hinged connection of the various shaped frame sections in forming generally annular retractor units adaptable to conform to fit the surface contours of various patients upon which a surgical operation is to be performed.</p> |
