In the case of a fixture for fixing an adjusting device to a bowden cable, linkage or the like, operatable by means of a bowden cable of the accelerator designed as a cable sheath with cable (16), which bowden cable is connected to a carburettor and/or injection device of internal combustion engines such as motor vehicles, the adjusting device is equipped with an electrically (electronically) controlled rotary fixture as fixing device, which is connected to a control lever (30) of the carburettor (injection device) by way of the bowden cable, cable (16). At the same time the cable (16) is non-positively connected under spring action to a tension pulley (4) of the fixing device and maintains the gas and/or air setting of the carburettor. <IMAGE>
