<p>A rodding point for waste water and surface water pipes having a main component (1) which can be mounted in standard pipe sockets, bends or tees. An inspection cap (2) with a rolling O-ring (2a) is provided for opening and closing the rodding point, and a locking cup (3) for retaining the inspection cap (2) in place without the use of screws. A plug (2b) can be removed from the inspection cap (2) to permit the rodding point to be converted into a drain, the inspection cap (2) and locking cup (3) then constituting respective halves of a water trap. The main component (1) can be covered by a cover plate (4), a cover plate with a peripheral slot, or by an open grating/clamping ring, as required.</p> |
