PURPOSE:To permit high-speed scanning and recording without increasing the rotating speed of a deflection mirror and arbitrary varying of the intervals of the pitches of scanning lines by using plural pieces of light sources and controlling the angles of individual luminous fluxes, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Collimator lenses 2a, 2b are disposed in accordance with light sources 1a, 1b, and a wedge prism 8 which controls the angle in the advancing direction of a luminous flux Ld is provided in at least one of the optical paths thereof, for example, in an optical path 7b. When the prism 8 is rotated, the direction of the optical axis 7b of the lens 2b is changed and the luminous flux is projected to the plane parallel with the rotatig axis 3 of a mirror 4 and inclusive of the optical axis 7a of the lens 2a. At this time, the angle between the axis 7b and the changed optical axis 7B is set at delta, and the luminous flux Lc of the lens 2a and the luminous flux Ld are deflected within the same reflection plane of a deflector 4 and are imaged on a photosensitive medium 6 by an imaging lens 5. As a result, the pitch (p) of the two scanning lines formed by one time of scanning attains the value multiplying the focal length of the lens by the angle delta. It is possible to change the value of the pitch (p) of the scanning lines by varying the angle delta. |
