发明名称 UNDONE MACHINING TIME MEASURING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To make backward control ever so easier, by measuring an undone machining time from the calculated value of length of the whole machining passage by means of dry run operation in advance of actual machining as well as the mean feed rate and length of up to the existing position at the actual machining, in case of CNC wire-cut electro-discharge machining. CONSTITUTION:Prior to actual machining, when a dry run operation is indicated, numerical control data are inputted into a control unit 103 and therefore the dry run operation is carried out, and when pulse distribution by the last data among the NC data is completed, a length L of the whole machining passage comes to be stored in a counter 110. Next, upon starting the machining, an actual count by NC data reading, pulse distribution operation process based upon the above data and counting by means of pulse counters 111 and 113 are carried out whereby a length D of machining passage up to the existing position and a mean feed rate F are found from the counter 111 and a memory 115 respectively. An operation circuit 116 calculates the undone machining time Tr from an equation Tr=(L-D)/F and displays said time.
