<p>The clamp for anchoring and suspension of overhead cables has a body (2) having a provision (3) for clamping the line and a means of attachment to a support. The attachment comprises a short metal cable (4) with one end (4a) fixed to the cable grip (2,3) by moulding the grip onto the cable. Likewise, the hook attachment (5) is moulded onto the other end (4b) of the cable (4). The hook attachment is formed from a hook (5) with a spring safety tongue (6) across the opening, or alternatively a threaded stud. Another variation is a block termination with a mounting flange for bolting or strapping to a support. The line grip is made up of sliding self-locking jaws (3) in the outer housing (2) which is integrally moulded with the cable (4).</p> |
