PURPOSE:To rationalize the totalization, by inserting a transfer header card to read another set of cards when another set of cards are read temporarily in a device where a set of cards following a top header card is read with an OCR. CONSTITUTION:A code for identification of, for example, a money collector an is recorded on a header card cn. Receipt slips bk-b1 where the money collector an collects money are piled up following the header card cn. Though a header card cn-1 of a money collector an-1 is inserted following these receipt slips ordinarily, a transfer header card ct where a transfer code is recorded is inserted and receipt slips b'l-b'l where the money collector substitutes for the money collector an-1 are inserted following this transfer header card ct when the money collector an substitutes for the money collector an-1 temporarily. Next, a header card cn-2 of a money collector an-2 and his receipt slips b''m-b''1 are inserted. Cards pile up similarly hereafter are read by an OCR and are totalized for every card of header cards cn-c1. Thus, receipt slips of money collectors an-a1 are classified and totalized easily to improve the work efficiency. |
