<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently lay out for a leaflet and a catalog by providing a video or an electronic still camera, a character and picture input devices, a picture clipping device, the laying out device, a printer, and a facsimile adaptor. CONSTITUTION:The picture signal of the video camera 1 is fetched into a picture input device 4; the fetch of the signal into the device 4 via a floppy disk 3 from the still camera 2 makes arrangement and storage convenient for each disk. The input device 4 outputs picture digital information, and the picture clipping device 5 displays an input picture on a clip monitor 6. A pattern is clipped when an operator gives an instruction. The laying out device 7 lays out the clipped pattern information and the explanation information of the character input device 8. A laying-out picture is displayed on a monitor 8 and is instructed by means of a mouse 9. Plural pattern and character information can be temporarily stored in an auxiliary storage device 10. At the end of laying out, the operator makes the printer 11 output a hard copy on the laying- out picture. Instead of the printer 11, a public line 13 can be used to output the copy via the facsimile adaptor 12. Thus, the efficient laying out can be achieved in this constitution.</p> |
